Who or Whom will the two Republican Council Members sue on the questions of "None-Bid Contracts" vs "Price Quotes" after Connecticut Chief State's Attorney Jesen and his staff completes their investigation?

1. Former New Britain Alderman Phil Sherwood?

2. Democratic State Chairman Nancy DiNardo?

3. Democratic Council President Michael Trueworthy? "

Show's how little these Dems know, but they keep trying to portray themselves as being elitist know it alls when they truly know nothing.

The Chief State's Attorney is Kevin Kane.

Who is Jesen? Never heard of anyone with that name in or out of state government.

what an absolute dope!

Chief State's Attorney Kevin Kane announced that he found no laws were broken in his review of allegations that Bysiewicz used her office to create a state database with information on more than 35,000 state voters to help her politically.

No mention was made of Alderman Carlo Carlozzi. aho is in the business of selling insurance. Does this mean that a city employee cannot purchase any type of insurance through Carlozzi?

In Friday's Edition of New Britain Herald on page 2 under CORRECTIONS- an article about Peter Gostin and John McNamara is printed below..

1. PETER GOSTIN is Republican Register of Voters for New Britain. Gostin's office was incorrect on Page 19 in Thursday's paper as Town Clerk.

2. MARK BATTERSON, The Herald's Managing Editor wrote in his article ANOTHER VIEW: "He was referring to the meager 16 percent turnout Tuesday confirmed by Town Clerk Peter Gostin".

3. MARK BATTERSON, The Herald's Managing Editor wrote in his article ANOTHER VIEW: " You would think people would care more about city and neighborhood issues, said McNamara, a former mayor".

4, John McNamara, Democratic Town Committee Chairman, never served as mayor of New Britain. It was stated incorrectly in the same article".

FOR THE RECORD: Attorney JENSEN was an Attorney in a 1935 story line in the Comic Strip "DICK TRACY" created and written by cartoonist Chester Gould depicting how a criminal case is handed and processed in the courts.

Is Trueworthy so ignorant that he is completely unaware that he has been royally shafted by his own party?

I heard that little mack worked so hard to get gerrantana elected because he simply couldn't allow Trueworthy to become mayor even for 6 months because he would expect to run for re-election and that would interfere with little mack's grand plans to run O'Brien again. so they stuck it right up you know where.

"Alderman Lou Salvio is also correct in pointing out that the term "No Bid" could not be found in Black's Law Dictionary of legal words, hence M. Trueworthy's Resolution of "No Bid" Contracts was a sham action meant to deceive the public at the February 23, 2011 Common Council Meeting?"

The quote above was posted on 2/26/11 on Frank Smith's blog.

What should be brought out also is that Corp. Counsel Bizzarro brought out the same point. So, Black's Law Dictionary and the Corp. Counsel point to this egregious act by Trueworthy and all this notwithstanding, 7 (seven) Council Democrats vote yes to pass it (Trueworthy, Hermanowski, Centeno, Sanchez, DeFronzo, Platosz and Catanzaro ; 3 Democrats (Collins, Black and Eva M.) voted, NO with the 4 Council Republicans to force a tie. Mayor Stewart broke the tie, motion defeated. A very reliable source cooroborated that the sham vote was "arranged" in the Democrats' caucus before the meeting. Trueworthy was therefore allowed to save face bujt all seven Dems looked like fools.
