I guess Danny Boy is still dithering on this issue, proving that he is simply incapable of making even the simplest decision.
I guess O'Brien will be losing the nomination for mayor as his punishment as he was just on TV speaking in favor of the busway which goes against the wishes of lord DeFronzo and his cronies--the Nicastro brothers.
How dare O'Brien defy these radicals and their wishes!
We made our case and we made a good one, Mayor Tim Stewart said after a three hour session with Gov. Malloy on the Busway on Monday 03/21/11
The Busway project speaks for itself, it's 99 percent designed, it creates close to 1,000 jobs. The sum of $275 million is coming from the feds, and $150 million of this budget is for bridges that have to be built or repaired, reported Stewart.
Mayor Stewart was part of a team of Busway supporters including state Rep. Tim O'Brien,(D)-New Britain; Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra; construction union leader Jeff Merrow; New Britain Chamber of Commerce President William F. Millerick; and Lyle Wray, executive director of the Capitol Region Council of Governments.
Phony Phil learned the hard way what it is like to have little mack and his minions turn on you. Sounds like O'Brien could be next.
What a buffoon Malloy is proving himself to be. At this rate does anyone believe he is capable of making the decision to get out of the rain in less than 2 months and without consulting with 100 advisers?
The governor is expected to make a decision within a week to 10 days.
It appears that Malloy studied decision making under Obama, as he too is unable to make a decision on anything--ever.

THIS GOVERNOR WILL GO DOWN AS THE BIGGEST DITHERING IDIOT TO EVER BE ELECTED GOVERNOR, AND SINCE HE CAN'T READ, HE'LL NEVER EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT.

Mayor Stewart has been fighting the radical wing of the Democratic Party (led by our former radical extremist Senator pushing his allegiance for Bristol over the needs of New Britain) for over 2 years, trying to get the busway underway.
Does this mean that now that the radical Senator is gone, so is the Democratic Party's opposition to common sense as it relates to New Britain? Or will the new radical extremist Senator continue the fight for Bristol while sticking it to New Britain?
I never could comprehend why our Democratic elected officials were fighting so hard for Bristol, especially at the expense of New Britain? What benefit could their be for working against their own city, and doing it so extremely hard?
If Tim Stewart hadn't been constantly blocked by Democrats, we might already have a transit system in place that fits into the description outlined in USA Today.

Don;t let our legislative democraps see this, or they will want to pass a law requiring every passenger to be weighed before he boards!
Conn. is $3.5 Billion in the red and yet these rail people say "That's no reason not to spend more!" Fools for sure!

During the interview did O'Brien have that little boy he normally walks around with?
They were talking about this busway on WTIC's State Church and the common belief was that the buses will run as empty as the trains do in most cities.
