Sounds to me like Mr. Russo goes way beyond what he is expected to do.
Perhaps these liberals should put their money where their mouth is, so to speak, and instead of criticizing everything, adopt a dog or cat and give it a good home.
I was amazed to learn that these liberals who want to dictate to us on how we should spend our money don't even live in New Britain, so basically this issue is none of their business.
Ofc, Russo sounds like a man dedicated to his profession.

I contacted and held conversations with two well respected and practicing Veterinarians. Both indicated that they were advised by the AVMA, NOT to use volunteers in their practice! One Vet went so far as to lable most volunteer groups - not necessarily individual volunteers - as, "extremists." After reading some of the unwarranted criticisms of the NBACC such as those from "Disgusted" and
"Joke", one can understand the admonitions of the AVMA. "
