Texas governor looking more like a presidential candidate: New Haven Register

Rick Perry is the longest serving Governor in Texas history. Governor Perry just won re-election for an unprecedented 3rd full term by defeating a radical socialist Democrat challenger by more than 1 million votes!

Clearly the voters in Texas know how dangerous Democrats are to the future of our nation and certainly are not even considering letting them destroy the great state of Texas!

Governor Perry can run on his record. For example:

5.5% unemployment in Texas while the average in the rest of the nation is twice that.

Balanced budget with no new taxes and not even touching the $9.5 billion rainy day fund.

Texas is home to more Fortune 500 companies than any other state.

Texas just celebrated 13 months of continuous growth in their sales tax based on increased retail sales and no increase in the tax rate.

Texas has also just celebrated 13 consecutive months of job growth while most other states are bleeding jobs--many of them moving to Texas for the favorable business environment.

What accomplishments can Obama claim?

Reuters characterized Rick Perry as “…A fierce conservative critic of the federal government” who “accuses the federal government of burdening Americans with taxation, spending and debt.”

Apart from being an unshakeable conservative Republican, Rick Perry has worked closely with the various TEA Parties in Texas despite being challenged for the Governorship of Texas by a candidate calling themselves a “TEA Party candidate”. Rick Perry is the only Texas Governor to have been elected to three terms of office, making him the most popular governor in Texas history.

I can promise you the first thing to be canceled will be any effort to force this country into socialized medicine. Say goodbye to Obummercare, in fact all Governor Perry has to do to win by a huge landslide is promise to end that entire debacle the day he takes office.

By Perry's 2nd day in office, everyone will be saying Barrack who?

Mr. Perry has my vote and everyone in my family too!

We have to put this country back on the right track and stop this entitlement attitude.

In order for Governor Perry to be as successful running the country as he has been running Texas, we will need to delivery him a Republican Senate too.

Governor Perry has always had a huge Republican majority in both the Texas House and Senate, so he has plenty of support for his conservative, common sense plans.

But that is probably because a liberal loon Democrat is practically unheard of in Texas, our most financially successful state in the nation.

Want to destroy any town, city, or state, simply vote for a Democrat. They destroy everything they touch.

Instead of the fancy inaugural balls, we'll be celebrating President Perry's inauguration with a Texas style barbecue on the lawn of the White House. Formal attire will be bolo ties and cowboy boots!

The most telling fact is that 60% of all jobs created in America are being created in Texas. The remaining 49 states only account for 40% of the jobs.

Isn't that a sign of the amazing job Governor Perry is doing? His state is creating 50% more jobs than the other 49 states combined!

There is no better example that Conservatism works, and socialism destroys jobs!
