Maybe New Britain can find a Chinese contractor just like the contractor who is building the new San Francisco Bay Bridge in China creating over 100,000 jobs in China at the expense of California taxpayers.

In response to complaints about the Chinese built bridge, Cal DOT responded that if they used union labor, the bridge would cost more than 3 times the cost, so making it in China was the best deal.

"The city has been debating whether to expand DiLoreto for seven years, but the most substantial progress has come only in the three months since Malloy approved the state contribution."

Don Stacom's statement, above, is as slanted as any left wing leaning reporter of the Herald. Truth is, Malloy had nothing to do with anything except raise everyone's taxes. What a lie! I guess, "to the victor go the spoils."
