It wa a once in 200 year storm. Chaos ensued around the state. NB cleaned up in record time. Nobody was hurt. Move on! Blame is not a solution!

Council member Dave DeFronzo needs to get over his obsession with blaming Stewart for everything. How New Britain reacted to the storm was not the problem; other entities such as CLP were slow to get to work. It wasn't a problem only in NB but all over the state. Members of my family (3 households) were without power as little as 5 to as many as 7 and a half days. There was nothing NB could have done about that. We don't have a department that restores power.

I have an acquaintance who works at CLP; he told me that CLP knew within minutes where all the outages were as they occurred. How about the family whose appliances were "fried" - not in NB - because an out of state power company ran a 220 line into their home. That town had nothing to do with the error.

People in my neighborhood lost power just after 1 P.M. on 10/29. All my neighbors that I talked with reported the outage to CLP, the correct thing to do.

C'mon Dave, do something useful.

As I understand it, Mayor Stewart was responsible for cleaning up in record time compared to other area towns.

However, I doubt these radicals will admit the truth.

There is a reason why most structures and emergency plans are designed for a 100 rather than a 200 year storm and it's call MONEY. DeFronzo, and his father, having been dependent on the public trough their entire lives, will never comprehend this concept no matter how many letters they manage to add to their names.

Truth is another concept that is foreign to these radicals. You cannot control people's lives if you allow them access to the truth.

Lou,
If it wasn't Stewart's fault, then it would have to have been George Bush's!
