The Polish Business Community is Outraged.
The Polish Business Community is Outraged with the Manner The State Consumer Protection handled their selectivity enforcement raid in the Broad Street area.
In a meeting held at the Pulaski Club Former Mayor Lucian Pawlak together with Mayor Tim O'Brien heard from the local Polish Business owners of their outrage of the apparent targeted raid as being selective against the polish community.
With one comment summing it all " Little Poland was Targeted."

The photo showing the empty room tells it all. Where is the huge crowd of outraged liberals you would expect had 4 stores owned by Latinos or African Americans been targeted by the state for raids?
I believe you are correct that no one cares about these victims simply because they are white.
and to think they came here fleeing socialism!

How Jon Green, the Executive Director of the labor-backed Connecticut Working Families Party (WFP] screwed the Party out of the sum of $10,000 ? It is also a source of embarrassment for Jon Green; since he was fined $10,000 for failing to wear a lobbyist badge while working on the Law issue of Paid Sick Days at the CT State Capitol in Hartford in 2011.
Jon Green also worked with Occupy Wall Street group in New York City and with the Occupy New Haven protesters on a demonstration outside the New Canaan home of Jeffrey Immelt, the Chief Executive Officer of General Electric.
Mr. Green's electoral action and fusion politics of cross-endorsement helped elect an WFP member as extra 3rd Registrar of Voters in City of Hartford.
Mr. Green said he is planning on keeping his CT lobbyist badge as he prepares his exit from State of Connecticut, to take on a national role in New York with an expanding Working Families Party by offering cross-endorsements and a second line on the ballot.
None of the aldermen who supposedly represent Broad Street were there. They have been silent of this issue. Where was Shirley Black and Manny Sanchez? Where was Eva Magnuszewski? Mark Bernacki and Paul Catanzaro were there. They are not even current alderman. Larry Hermanowski was there. He does not even represent Broad Street. Shame on the city council for not supporting Broad Street. I have yet to see these alderman at any community events on Broad Street.
I guess the majority of New Britain's liberals were too busy trying to drive Costco out of town in the same manner they drove Walmart out of here to care about helping these poor Polish people. Maybe if they were Puerto Ricans being forced to work for white managers we would see one radical protest after another on Broad Street?

It seems very clear to me that none of the Democrats who are known for attending radical protests were there because none of these victims are of the correct race or ethnicity. Had these stores been owned by blacks or Hispanics, I have no doubt that they would have been there in force and there would have been Democrats up the whazoo protesting, but liberals simply do not seem to care about a group of white people who own businesses. Had these Polish people been a bunch of welfare bums who were losing their free ride even though they are white, then maybe some of these liberals would have been upset, but once again Democrats clearly do not support whites or business owners except to form radical protests in front of their businesses with an effort to drive them out of town as in the case of Walmart.
The Governor has been totally silent on this issue. He was one of the first to condemn the Republican mayor of East Haven for a taco comment about Hispanics, but when his own jack booted thugs profile white people by ethnic background, not a peep out of him or even his spokesman Occhiogoober.
NO HUMAN RIGHTS FOR THE POLISH PEOPLE:
Conn. rights panel rebukes mayor on 'tacos' remark
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut human-rights commission has rebuked a mayor who made a disparaging remark about Latinos.
The state Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities said Tuesday it unanimously approved a resolution condemning East Haven Mayor Joseph A. Maturo Jr. for saying last month he might have tacos as a way to do something for the community.

Just a reminder to the commenter quoted above and anybody else that thinks the same way:
"ALL FIFTEEN COUNCIL MEMBERS TAKE AN OATH TO REPRESENT EVERY RESIDENT OF EVERY STREET IN NEW BRITAIN. " YES, WE ELECT TWO COUNCIL MEMBERS FROM EACH OF THE FIVE "WARDS" IN NEW BRITAIN BUT THEY ALL VOTE ON EVERY ISSUE THAT AFFECTS THE CITY! ALL COUNCIL MEMBERS COLLECT A PAYCHECK PROVIDED BY ALL NB TAXPAYERS!!! IF ANYONE FEELS UNDERREPRESENTED BY THE COUNCIL TELL THEM, AND REMIND THEM WHO'S PAYING THEIR STIPENDS. THERE ARE ELECTED OFFICIALS THAT HAVE YET TO PAY THEIR TAXES - ALL DEMOCRATS!
THE WAY WE ELECT COUNCIL MEMBERS IN NEW BRITAIN IS THE PROCESS HATCHED BY TIM O'BRIEN AND PUT THROUGH IN 2002. SOME COUNCIL MEMBERS PROBABLY HAVE NEVER BEEN ON BROAD ST."
His taco remark would have been overlooked if he was a Democrat.
SOME COUNCIL MEMBERS PROBABLY HAVE NEVER BEEN ON BROAD ST BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW WHERE IT IS, AND WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO FIND IT IF YOU DREW THEM A MAP.
Where was the mayor's spouse? She likes to block traffic and protest.

Where was the mayor's spouse? She likes to block traffic and protest--apparently this group doesn't fall within the type of people she would consider protesting for. They own businesses and pay taxes and that are 2 things liberals seem to despise with a vengeance.

maybe they just don't feel the neighborhood is safe enough to venture into?
Not even Eva M. cared enough to attend?
Very interesting!
Ironic the mayor's wife protests on Broad St in Hartford. No sign of her when there is a problem on Broad street in NB
A little reading for the victims of this action:
Title 18, U.S.C., Section 242
Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law
This statute makes it a crime for any person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom to willfully deprive or cause to be deprived from any person those rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution and laws of the U.S.
This law further prohibits a person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation or custom to willfully subject or cause to be subjected any person to different punishments, pains, or penalties, than those prescribed for punishment of citizens on account of such person being an alien or by reason of his/her color or race.
Acts under "color of any law" include acts not only done by federal, state, or local officials within the bounds or limits of their lawful authority, but also acts done without and beyond the bounds of their lawful authority; provided that, in order for unlawful acts of any official to be done under "color of any law," the unlawful acts must be done while such official is purporting or pretending to act in the performance of his/her official duties. This definition includes, in addition to law enforcement officials, individuals such as Mayors, Council persons, Judges, Nursing Home Proprietors, Security Guards, etc., persons who are bound by laws, statutes ordinances, or customs.
Punishment varies from a fine or imprisonment of up to one year, or both, and if bodily injury results or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire shall be fined or imprisoned up to ten years or both, and if death results, or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.
In East Haven, the Justice Dept even went so far as to insert themselves into the selection process for the acting police chief,--a move that no one can explain where they even get the authority for such a bold move as to interfere with a hiring process--but the victims in that case were Hispanic.
Since the victims on Broad Street in this case are Polish, white, and own their own businesses, very few elected officials seem to even care. All accounts are that 5 businesses were apparently profiled for raids simply because their owners are of Polish decent. Tens of thousands of dollars of private property were then reportedly seized under "color of law" as a result of these purported ethnically targeted raids. So far, there is very little being said by the Democrats in power to even oppose this apparent travesty of justice in what appears to be the victims' fault for not being of a politically correct ethnic or racial group.
The current question facing New Britain may no longer be "Where's the beef" but "where's the feds?"
When asked by a Herald reporter what he was going to do for New Britain's Polish Community, in the wake of these raids, the Democratic Mayor responded "I might have Pierogies when I go home. I'm not quite sure yet,".
...The Democrats applauded his response.
