John Rowland has been asking for the past year for anyone who plans on riding this bus to call into his show. He was talking about it today, that after almost a year of issuing that challenge every day on his show, he has yet to have one person call in and admit they will actually ride the magic bus.
The only call he did generate from the challenge was a bus driver who recently retired after 24 years of driving the New Britain to Hartford bus and the driver said in 24 years he never once had a full bus, and most times he either was driving a completely empty bus or made the entire trip between New Britain and Hartford carrying one or two people.
Lots of people are rising up in opposition to this whacked out waste of money so hopefully enough legislators will listen to the people and stop it.
Anyone who thinks this is a good way to spend our money has taken one too many drinks of the Kool aid.
