O'Brien is proving to the general public of New Britain that he is not up to the job he was elected to do. O'Brien's butt must be full of splinters from shiftting positions on this Police Dept. staffing issue continually. The other City employee unions are feeling the brunt of his favoritism of the police and fire unions. Also, apparently, neither O'Brien nor his staff will be required to make the same sacrifices being asked of other city employees.
A perfect Orwellian scenario. Not to decide - " on a fair way to treat all" - is to decide! This is definitely 21st. Century, "Animal Farm."
Aren't you glad you voted for O'Brien/Sherwood?
