Hartford Courant: Roy Occhiogrosso, a partner with the consulting firm Global Strategy Group, served as Gov.-elect Malloy's chief campaign strategist. Prior to joining Global, Roy worked on numerous political races in Connecticut, and served for 6 years as the Policy and Communications Director for the state Senate Democrats

It Appears that the taxpayer's money is being used to support the mayor's re-election campaign. $100,000 for Roy's advise for the re-election of the mayor O'Brien.

Imagine the outcry if Stewart when he was mayor were to have hired a national Republican strategy & political campaign firm for $100,000 in taxpayer money?

All these aldermen quoted as if their opinion actually matters for something. There is only one person whose opinion in city hall matters, and clearly it is not O'Brien either.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Sherwood clearly runs this city and not O'Brien or the council. They are simply his pawns in a big game of chess.

Since this bozo was elected last year, has he done even one thing that hasn't turned into a disaster?
