I just threw up in my mouth.

Did her dad like the ad?

Is there any hope left for a third candidate?

Wow.

What an incredible ad! I'm going to shop Rare Realities to see if I can support them with some business for being such upstanding people!

I understand the desire and strategy behind turning one of her negatives (too young in most peoples eyes) into a positive by courting and leading with other young people and new energy etc...

When is someone going to tell her no mayor has ever got elected on the youth vote. This is not presidential turnout - this is between 18-26% and the median age of the voter who turn out will be above 60.

Again, I understand her attempt to spin a negative into a positive...except one thing..it won't deliver a win.

Funny,
I actually took away that she supports business and wants to help grow business in NB - I really didnt see any "youth vote" issue.

I like how inclusive she is, and the way she really cares about the city.

Especially compared to Tim O'Brien.

We all know he is looking at NB as a stepping stone to run for office at the state level as soon as possible, which is why he couldn't care less about all this debt he's saddling us with. He knows he won't be around to have to pay it back.

Erin will.

The over arching theme of her campaign is youth. And that is a big big mistake. The catalyst was her feeling defensive about her age - all understandable.

The main theme of her campaign is a big dud. 18-25 years olds will NOT decide this election and the fact she has not grasped the basic arithmetic and how many votes she needs and from where demonstrates to me she probably is not yet ready to run a city.

Not only does Erin care about the city of New Britain, she is ready to change what has been broken from the past two years with O'brien in office. And being too young is certainly not a "negative" towards delivering her a win in November.

GO ERIN!

The truth according to liberals is amazing. Erin is constantly attacked for being too young even though she is 4 years older than the youngest mayor ever elected in Connecticut and by all accounts the people of his city love him because they have re-elected him 4 more times, but a guy who by all accounts flunked out of college after one semester and whose work experience seems to only include bagging groceries is not too inexperienced even though Erin is a college graduate with a degree in political science and has several years of experience serving on the Board of Education and other city boards and commissions, not to mention her experience in constituent work at the state capitol.

Yah, Erin's not too young. All the voters must be wrong.
