With the
alderman resigning his leadership role but retaining his council seat has the
GOP members of the common council along with a few Democrats joining in with
his ouster.
We all are
aware of the newspaper accounting of his actions towards Mayor E. Stewart
during his drunken rampage at her office and the subsequent incident attacking
the “Gay community” at a local restaurant.
Many of the Gay community members have indicated to me, if Trueworthy
doesn’t resign, they may march onto City Hall to Protest at a future Common
Council meeting.
