Stop letting a wacko loon from the council control every word written about New Britain and in time you will earn the respect of the citizens who will eventually begin to trust what is reported in your paper. Keep it fair without the censorship that has been allowed to occur and the readers will come back.

Here! Here!Absolutely correct that idiots have controlled the output of the paper for about 2 years now. Heard today that Rick Guiness is no longer an employee of the Herald. There's a great start to bringing back some integrity to the Herald. One more to go and I'll renew my subscription(Marc Levy).

I think the Herald has been biased towards Mayor Stewart since he was first elected. Not until recently has it even seemed that there was anyone questioning his actions or any local democrat promoting local topics.

Why isn't the Mayor getting a fair shake in some people's opinion? I don't what others think but it seems that every other article referring to something contriversial has the Mayor saying no comment or something.

To me it doesn't sound like a politician not getting a fair shake it sounds like a politician hiding something.

but that's just me. Seems like everyone here has made up there mind that democrats are the antichrist. They're not all great representatives or whatever they are called but I think they are doing very good work and trying to get answers to questions like the fence.

I am very happy to hear the Bristol Press is selling more and I hope the Herald sees good results as well.
