Can't everyone see through this political manuver? Connecticut is in the bag for Obama in 2012. Why do Ct. voters have to be so dumb? Dodd is gone. Obama does not need him anymore.
Obama needs Ohio. How many times has he been out there this year 30?40? He is buying votes with our tax payer money.
This is a great loss. Wise up Democratic voters. You have "been had"! We all lost.

No, but anyone who would vote for a Democrat clearly is a mush brain.
Anti-American Democrats are destroying this once great nation.
Socialism has failed anywhere in the world it has ever been tried, but Democrats are forcing it down our throats.
In my dictionary, "Democrat" is synonymous with "communist"

Makes sense to me. While the rest of the country was rejecting socialism, you all voted your state into the socialist minority like a bunch or morons, now you have no chance of ever passing one bill through Congress at least for 2 years thanks to the Republican majority protecting the rest of us from you Democrats.
I hope you like being a member of the nothing minority party.

Since the new Republican Speaker of the House controls all activity in the House, I hope he will follow Pelosi's example and tell radicals like Murphy and Larson to shut up and sit down anytime they try to speak, in the same manner that nut job Pelosi treated Republicans for the past 6 years.
For Democrats, their reign of terror over the US is finally over thanks to the American people pushing back against their nonsense.
Didn't Uconn already spend much of this money before they even got it?
What do you expect from irresponsible Democrats who are in control of the university?
I don't blame Obama. I wouldn't waste money on this failing state either.
With Uconn's spending record, they would have only pissed away the money anyway.
The fact that Ohio State University is getting the money proves this. The Obama administration sees no benefit in presenting a gift to state of Connecticut in which they feel is certain to be for Obama in 2012. Ohio, a battle ground state is a state in which the Obama administration feels they can buy votes with this grant. Apparently that's the "change we can believe in.
The scary part of the story about Obama using our money to buy votes is that there is actually someone who would vote for the worst president in history--probably worse than FDR and Jimmy Carter combined and they were both previously tied for the position of worse president ever until 2008 changed all that.
